How to Choose Feed and Fertilizer Packaging Bags: Moisture-proof and Tear-resistan
2026-05-15
1. Technical Principle & Core Structure
Composite packaging bags generally adopt a two-layer structure.
The outer layer is made of high-strength PP or PE woven fabric, delivering excellent tear resistance and puncture resistance. The inner layer is food-grade PE film, which is laminated to the outer woven fabric by hot melting or gluing to form an effective moisture-proof barrier.
Gravure Printing is adopted as the core process. Ink is transferred onto the film surface through engraved gravure cylinders, followed by lamination with the woven fabric. Gravure Printing features strong ink adhesion and high color reproduction, meeting the printing demands for brand logos and product instructions. Meanwhile, it complies with safety standards for food-contact materials.

2. Application & Suitable Scenarios
These composite bags are designed with three-side sealing. The top opening allows easy filling, while sealed bottom and side edges prevent leakage.
It is recommended to select specifications according to material characteristics:
Granular materials such as fertilizer and cat litter are suitable for 28-micron thick rectangular bags, which can bear a weight of over 50kg. For powdery materials like flour and feed, an inner liner bag is matched to avoid dust leakage.
The double-layer structure enables the outer woven fabric to resist impact and the inner film to block water vapor, ideal for storage under normal temperature and dry conditions. An extra aluminum foil layer can be added for long-term storage to enhance oxygen barrier performance.

3. Technical Advantages & Practical Performance
Compared with single-layer plastic bags, composite packaging bags achieve more than 3 times higher tear strength, resisting extrusion and friction during transportation. The moisture-proof property passes the 24-hour water vapor transmission rate test to keep materials dry all the time.
Gravure Printing supports customized basic colors such as red, green and blue. Free layout design is available to meet brand differentiation and large-volume procurement demands. Logo printing is also supported, with guaranteed pattern clarity and ink safety to facilitate subsequent recycling.
