How to Increase the Load-bearing Capacity of PP Woven Bags and Store Them Correctly

2026-01-07

PP Woven bags are manufactured from polypropylene. How is the load-bearing capacity of these bags enhanced during production?

Load-bearing Capacity of Pp Woven Bags

When polypropylene is stretched, its tensile strength increases in the direction of stretching. However, tear strength along the stretch direction or tensile strength perpendicular to it is significantly reduced. Biaxial stretching can balance the mechanical properties of the film in both directions, but tensile strength is substantially reduced. Pp Woven Bags can fully leverage thehigh-strength characteristics of uniaxially stretched film. In terms of film production and stretching, the knitted yarn used to make Woven Bags shares similarities with plastic film manufacturing processes. For Woven Bags, the composite process is identical to the extrusion composite process, but employs woven fabric instead of laminate or film. Additionally, the weaving process is incorporated, which possesses its own distinct characteristics.

Pp Woven Sacks comprise warp and weft threads, with the base typically narrower than the height.Should the base land first during unloading, increased pressure from lighter products may cause the sack to tear. Secondly, when loading powdered or granular goods, excessive filling or abrupt cessation of pouring subjects the sack to direct stress, readily causing thread breakage. Loading should generally remain below half to two-thirds capacity, leaving ample void space.

During unloading, the internal pressure of the product gradually diminishes, exerting less force upon the woven bag. This prevents tearing and constitutes a fundamental technique for loading woven bags.

The Correct Method for Storing Woven Bags

In fact, after manufacturing our products, we must subject them to an ageing scrub. It is precisely because we produce suitably robust goods that they endure, facilitating future utilisation. Moreover, in the realm of daily application, one must pay close attention to their environmental placement. Temperature and humidity levels warrant particular vigilance, especially when stored outdoors. Exposure to rain, direct sunlight, wind, and infestations from insects, rodents, and the like will accelerate deterioration in the tensile strength of woven sacks. Therefore, during storage, special measures must be taken to prevent these natural hazards.

Beyond this, regular maintenance is essential. After each use, ensure thorough cleaning. This approach maximises service life and fully realises the product's intended functionality.
